richard cortez is in the studio working on a brand new album - "sleeping with strangers"
<p>wollenberg records is overjoyed to announce that richard cortez is finally back in the studio and working on his newest cycle of songs entitled "sleeping with strangers" - the songs, written over the last three years since richard's first album "craving something beautiful" was officially released, echo the voice of a more mature and centered side of richard cortez. playing both guitar and piano on the album as well as engineering the entire project himself, our little folksinger is taking the bull by the horns and going full force on this one. while the tracklisting is still to be determined, the songs currently being considered are</p><p>be alright</p><p>body of water</p><p>sleeping with strangers</p><p>missing</p><p>take me out dancing </p><p>ode to johns</p><p>warrior</p><p>the greatest new thing</p><p>trainwreck</p><p>wilton dr. </p><p>want to hear a sample of what the new richard cortez cd is going to sound like? too bad. haha, just kidding. you can subscribe to richard's "song blog" on youtube as he records and works through some of the new material that's going to be featured on the upcoming LP.</p><p><a href="http://www.youtube.com/rickydickypants">www.youtube.com/rickydickypants</a></p><p>cause we're always lookin out for ya,</p><p>-the folks over @ the berg</p> Read rest of story»
